Subject: Recommendation for dinner before 2013 Senior Prom
As you have requested, I have
researched possible locations for dinner before our senior prom. Because of
your specific perimeters, I have narrowed down a list of two places that I
believe will be fit for us: Olive Garden and Bali Hai. I developed a list of
perimeters to help decide the ideal place for our prom dinner:
1.
Food
2.
Price
3.
Level of class
RECOMMENDATION
I recommend that we dine at Olive Garden for our senior prom. The food is delicious and will satisfy everyone
in our dinner party, and the price is reasonable for a teenage budget. Although
it is not super fancy, the atmosphere is still semi classy and will be perfect
for the occasion.
DISCUSSION
FOOD
The two restaurants give us a
variety of food types.
Olive Garden. This
Italian restaurant serves a wide variety of pasta dishes and traditional
Italian foods, as well as sea food. They serve endless endless bread sticks and salad.
Bali Hai. This Polynesian
restaurant serves mainly seafood dishes. In addition, they do serve other meats
such as steak, pork, chicken, and duck.
Conclusion. Because of
our group’s love of Italian food, I feel that we will all find something
delicious to eat at Olive Garden.
PRICE
With a group of teenagers on a minimum wage budget, the
price of the restaurant should not be expensive.
Olive Garden. The
$15 meals will fit perfectly within our
budget and should not exceed our financial limits. If the location we
choose has a special then we can save even more money by selecting
certain entrees.
Bali Hai. The price of the food is a little more expensive than
we can afford. The average cost is $20 - $30 which could potentially be too
much.
Conclusion. Olive Garden meets our financial needs perfectly
and will not exceed our high school budget.
LEVEL OF
CLASS
Because of our attire, we should dine at a classier
restaurant.
Olive Garden. This
restaurant does have class, but it is not very formal. We will look out of place and could potentially
get food on our clothes.
Bali Hai. The class of the restaurant is elegant and would
perfectly match our fancy attire. We would not have very messy food and would
have a less likely chance of getting food on our clothes.
Conclusion.
Although Bali Hai would meet our desired level of class, I believe that
going to Olive Garden would be the best fit for us. I think it might be
quite enjoyable to have people look at us while we eat at a normal
place in our fancy prom dresses and tuxedos!
